29 is closed from rock port mo to Missouri valley Iowa.

 

Almost got stuck getting truck out yesterday in my OWN eff'g yard, and I've got gravel. Had to rock it til' i socked it.

 

... and now it's snowing. I can't win. Got kitty litter, just no cats.

 

No big loss for the Pilot, it was a crappy dump. But I liked that Sapp Bro's.

 

And once all that water drains off, the lot will still smell like piss....

 

That whole corridor is in a flood plain and surprised anyone built anything there .
Hwy 2 floods all the time from there to the Missouri river also , it flooded there in 2011 also and was closed forever .
It is a waterfowl hunters paradise all along 29 in Iowa and Missouri down to mound city mo ....pay attension to all the sloughs , small lakes and public hunting areas from Souix city to the Missouri line ...they are where the fill needed to build the over passes on 29 came from .
Always iffy as to anyone getting crop to harvest out of that area .
Good news is that scale at the 10mm in Iowa is smoked again lol.
