I got 2016 Volvo VNL670. I just replaced the pinion yolk seal. After I drove 2000 miles it started to leak again. My mechanic is 2000 miles away. Should I drive back to the mechanic or just have it fixed here now?

When it gets replaced again make sure the rear end vent isn't plugged.

Replace breathers and check bearings next time it’s apart

Did he even look at the yolk, they can get worn and have a groove in it.
Bearing might be going bad or might have damaged seal putting yolk in.

probably pulled yolk out, popped in new seal and and collected his pay.

Looks more like its coming out from around the nut, rather than the seal. Notice how the seal area is dry and it looks like its coming from inside the yoke.
