Had to get some bloodwork done earlier in the week. All #'s were good, but particularly interesting were LDL down to 69. That was 105 in January.

Still eating high protein, but have added more non processed carbs. Lots of excercise too, so it's surely not just diet. Still, good results for 49 taking no medication.

At one time my triglycerides were over 1500.

I live my rice cooker on my truck. I’ll make a meal
Out of a cup of jasmine rice

Jasmine rice with some of that corned beef from the square can with the little key on it microwaved and mixed into it is one of those meals I could eat every day and never get sick of. That would probably kill me though, so I usually limit it to once a week at most.

    Rideandrepair and SlowPokeHauler Thank this.

That’s great. An 81 mg aspirin every day as PM is something to consider. Keeps the plaque from sticking to arteries. There’s 2 types of LDL from what I understand. Ones larger and flows harmlessly, formed from protein fats, The others smaller and very sticky, formed by carbs, via triglycerides. Something like that anyways. It’s worth some research,
