I have a dump truck that when gas pedal goes past a certain point it goes into limp mode and check engine light comes on …..to get pedal response you have to cut truck off and back on and then it does the same thing. I have tried different mechanics. No one knows anything. Can anyone help please?…

Change the accelerator pedal, it has a pedal position sensor on it that measures how much pedal input it’s receiving and sends the signal to the ECM.
The pedal itself gets worn out over time and starts giving erratic signals or no signal at all, hence no pedal response. -
Should we have used an international brand part? We used a cheaper one…
Thank you so much for your help!

Who’s the manufacturer of the Aftermarket part? -
Actually it was international, I thought it was an off brand but I was wrong... I have attached an image. Please review it and tell me what you think. Thank you for helping us. I have to figure this out.
Any other ideas?Attached Files:
