My truck has been broken down 3 weeks now, so we don’t make .54 when wheels aren’t turning.

The 1st week i was stuck in a hotel in cookeville, Tn, the 2nd week they had me get a junker truck that had just gone through $12,000 worth of repairs at International dealer in memphis, which I had to do a 4 stopper to florida.

The truck had no a/c, No wipers (thank god for rain-x), no jake brakes. I got it back to grand prairie where i’ve been sitting since saturday.

My truck, in cookeville tennessee might be ready friday and i’ll have to go there to get it.

My God, is that the norm? Are you really making any money? I mean great they reimburse you for the motel, but you aren’t turning any miles. At the end of the year, your income has to suffer. After following this company the last 5 years and hearing the same war stories about the junk equipment, I wouldn’t change places for the .54 per mile for anything. It sounds as though you need duct tape and a box of tools for any trip. Unreal.

Is your normal truck a maxforce? Also why did you take a truck with no wipers or working ac?

I had quit, gone thru orientation with Magnum and was half way thru my 1st load for them and Poly outbound called me and was wondering if they could interest me in a load they couldn't get covered, since I had been off a while...that is how uninformed that office is...

That's what I love about the office. They don't know nothing and I don't want them to know nothing lol. Just give me my load and be done with them.

    Should've hopped in a peterbuilt.
Ive spent 2 days in the shop in the last 4 months.
I day each for a pm.

They had a lot full of them, nobody wanted them
Because it was a automatic and didn't have the top bunk.
Dump that international as soon as you can.

I haven't done anything but make money since
I jumped in a new truck.
I don't even have to shift gears or ride the clutch
    thru rush hour traffic anymore.
Easiest 1500 bucks a week I ever made.

Knucklehead, Zaros and JohnBoy Thank this.
