A couple of months ago had new injectors installed. Was running a little rough and stumbling randomly at freeway speeds. Ran great at 55 mph. Yesterday developed a popping noise coming from air cleaner like a dead hole. Trucks no longer stumbling and is running great but popping noise is there. Seems to be running too good for a bad valve. Need some help please.

The valves are to tight. They need adjusting. My truck (CAT) did the same thing, had like a popping noise sound coming from the air cleaner. Found out that that valves weren’t completely closing, so during compression, that’s what you are hearing, some compression escaping. Hope this makes sense.
