Oof. I feel for ya. They're a huge pain in the donkey to deal with as a broker, too.

This was going to be my second move today but threw a track half way up the ramps. Got it backed down then had to pick up the front of the trailer and swing it over so I could hook back up to it. 20180830_111216.jpg

Felt like I was going to die today....

I delivered in the morning after driving through rush hour traffic in Washington, then booked it to Norfolk VA for my next load. I did not get a chance to eat except 4 hard boiled eggs (no yolk) the whole day from 2am until about 4pm. This was a major mistake. I would also like to add I'm very overweight, which is the main reason I wanted to do flatbed. This load had to be tarped with 8ft drops and with my less than 4 months flatbed experience, have never used before. Mix in some 96 degree weather and we have some fun! Ended up taking 4 hours from the first pallet added until I left. Worst part was I couldn't stand ontop because the 1/4 dry rotted plywood couldn't hold my weight. I had to walk extremely carefully on the support section only.

After finishing I made it 3 miles and had to pull over and vomit. Felt worse than I ever have from exertion. After 15min made it to a truck stop another 5 miles away.

So anyone ever use those Kaplan tarps that are parachute material? Haha.
