    Pumpjacks are sized based on the depth of the well and the API gravity (density) of the oil. Deeper wells and/or heavier oil requires more pumping power, therefore a larger pump.

    I saw a broken down truck once earlier this year, completely in the lane of travel around a bend on the big highway... I could see his chrome bumper hanging low and a short snow bank lining the unplowed shoulder.
