May I ask whassup with my personal bit of artwork dabbling showing up beside other folks online ID's? Not that it's a big deal but I designed that for my own use...the little portable parking lot/cars image in front of a palm tree thing...avatar, I guess it is. I was going to do some t-shirts with it when I got it ready but haven't had time to complete it. I just been using it for my avatar since I registered here on the TTR.

If the forum has chose to use it, I am flattered and honored that would happen, but please lock it to this place in the fine print...that may already be the case. I'd hate to get chewed out later when someone asks me what I am doing using their image when I was the one that half-a$#%d created it trying to learn a little about PhotoShop one day. There just isn't any car haul artwork out there really to be found...so I started doodlin'.

I had to get 4 car haul brokers/companies sites taken down by their respective hosting companies because they just refused to stop using my personal images. They were claiming that my trucks, my images, taken by me...were their own equipment. One even had the cahonies to label one shot of my truck..."The Pride Of Our Fleet". Out of business now and website is gone.

But back to the photos of car haulers. Excuse my inquiry...I just now noticed it as I sit in Bordentown NJ at the Petro before going to snatch a load at the auction and get back home.

 

I see you with the police cars, and raise you with 2 ambulances and a wheelchair van.

 

This has been a constant battle for me as well. I have a header picture on my site that I paid a guy to photoshop for me. It has been lifted a half dozen times.

I need to edit my post and I think I'm going to after this one. It only did that on one session when I was in this thread. It displayed my avatar in the regular position and again to the right of my handle. When I scrolled down, my avatar was appearing beside everyone's name as though it was being used for a "Who's Online Now?" image. Either way, it's not doing it any longer.

Sooo...please excuse my interruption of the picture posting. I feel your pain on the image stuff. And I understand how simple it is to cut-n-paste and capture screen images...nothing is untouchable. 9 times out of 10, a note to the user fixes it. But then you get one that is defiant and you have to go through the hosting for that particular individual. That works...plain & simple. If it's protected and you can prove it, the hosting company wants no part of defending it. One cat in Florida actually cussed me out and told me he would use whatever he wanted to. 3 days later, his entire website was off the net and has not been back up to this day. I did a WhoIs on his site and contacted his hosting people...they took it down after he wouldn't comply. Problem fixed.


Edit: Oooops. Learn something new everyday. It seems the Edit feature on posts expire after a while? Soooo...what appears to be a one-time computer glitch and I thought was a problem is no longer. Apologies to Trucker Kenny for the interruption to his thread. Carry on.

 

My photo shop guy (Josh Alden) got cussed out by a cat in Florida too! Must be a rough crowd down there.

I dropped you pic in the google image search and you have a much bigger problem than I do. It had pages of hits! If you ever quit driving you can just make cool photos for the leads generator crowd, they apparently really like your work.
