If the vehicle below was hard tied on all (4) corners *maybe* but I didn't make a regular habit of it.

Failure to do what you're talking about is why carhaul has gone to crap. Instead of figuring out how to do it right but efficiently, it's become throw the #### on the truck and get rolling!

Oxbow, D.Tibbitt, brian991219 and 3 others Thank this.

IMG_0046.jpeg Well that’s dumb. Don’t let your load bar go through your tail light.

I got sideswiped one morning by a Deere hitting that exact light bending the housing in so bad that it took a huge crescent wrench to straighten. There were two Deere crossing the highway and one just barely made it in front of me and this one unfortunately didn’t.

Took Penske 6 hours, and 2 lights to finally get the correct one. Then they had to figure out how to wire it apparently. Took so long that I had to get a hotel for the night.

They must be incompetent or milking the clock. I think maybe it takes me 30 minutes and that is drilling the rivets out, replacing the new light that often had a different plug so I have to re-wire/solder the connections and then rivet the stainless plate back over top.

It definitely isn’t Carhauling, but it does give me something to do a few days a month moving them from point A to B. Most 4 wheelers don’t cut you off as bad in one of these either. IMG_7701.jpeg
