    lol
Well I spose I’m just thinking if things aren’t holding up the way I’d like after 25 years of oem; makes sense to set them up so they’ll last at least as long on the flip of this project.

@Bean Jr. I already forgot most of what all has been done so far, so starting now would seem like a lost effort.

I got new Fontaine fixed mount fifth wheels for both of my w9’s. Now I had been thinking a single flush mount sheet of mirror stainless for the deck plate; but have come to the realization that it’d prolly end up looking like #### in short order. I’m figuring porsche red deckplate now, easier that I wouldn’t have to cut and polish it a couple times a year. That said, my mechanic is wanting to put 2 or 3 sheets in the span; for better access in the future for repairs and replacements.
I do believe I would hate having that many visible seams in that length, tho I understand the point quite well. If I had a slider I could hide a seam further forward than directly under the wheel- but I don’t. I’ve heard suggestions to use the airline box to cover the seam; but it ain’t full width so I am not sure that wouldn’t actually look dumber...
Anybody got any thoughts on hiding a seam in the middle of a flat surface that’s all one color? If i was to stripe it; i don’t think a lateral one half way down the exposed frame would look so hot//

I had planned to have a secondary airline sized box with 3 watermelon lights instead of the lines coming out/ can’t even get a callback from several fab shops :/

between the rails toolbox is a #### good idea; specially since i have had one setting in my storage unit about 8 years now! perfect!
