Pre-trip examination how many wheels

I went to school 2 years ago and after that had a heart attack. Long story short that school did not put my eldt in the system and it was over a year so they made me do the entire school over again when I come back. The original School was no longer in business so no one else could change it for me. The first school on the pre-trip inspection told us to do all the will and break assemblies on one side of the truck. Meaning Steer Drive and both trailer axles. The second one that I went to and just finished said you only do the front left with the wheel assembly but if the suspension is different you would need to state that. Long story short I'm being told two different things and the South Carolina manual does not specify. My test is in the morning. I don't want to be mentioning stuff that I'm not supposed to mention because they give you 45 minutes and you know how some of these people at the DMV can be
