    That's better than a 579 but still is not a real Pete. Last real 379 was made 2002. Before they went cheap on dash parts.

    Last I heard Western drivers drove for 35-38cpm. But they had a clean looking Peterbilt. :)

    First Pete I ever drove was a 385 hauling gas. I thought, "THIS is a PETE? Class pays my ###!!!"

    About a year later finally got behind the wheel of a 379. After YEARS of choking on the hype, I had to admit.......

    "Yeah. This....this is nice"

    Petes are overrated. They all look the same. Everybody dresses them up to look like every other one on the road. And that floor mounted clutch pedal sucks too.

    They are now but not the 379's that's class.The floor clutch is perfect if you ride with no air in the seat.

    I'll stick with my W900A. At least I can tell the difference between an A and a B in a glance. 359, 379 and 389 all look alike to me lol.
