Actually Lolo pass is in Montana, this road goes over the CONTINENTAL DIVIDE! I'm sure that road is just fine and dandy for truck travel this time of year right?

well ill be.
Either way it was universally stupid.Joetro and otherhalftw Thank this. -
Oh for any drivers wanting to avoid this: 1. Send your Mac 27
2. Check Mac 27 against your atlas
3. Program the exact routing into your gps and pay attention to posted signs, and you will never end up in this situation
all of that being said, most of us at one time or another have probably made a wrong turn and wound up on a road where we needn't be -
When the road gets so narrow that it becomes a single lane.....don't you think (maybe poor choice of wording there(?))....that would be a clue?
If a driver can't afford a TRUCK GPS better learn how to use that Rand McNally and follow the "Yellow Lined Road".... -

You know I have actually driven big trucks down roads like this in the summer to deliver loads, building materials and equipment.
That however was in the summer time and it was a planned evolution. This guy was clearly a knot head.KeithT1967 Thanks this. -
