what are the pros and cons of using a loading board vs a broker? With a broker is there any exclusive agreement where you cant include loading board loads?
The reason I’m asking is because i spoke to a broker who was offering 1.17 a mile per plus $68 dollars per car. This is from Road Island to Baltimore. From one of my other threads I’m hearing that central dispatch averages about .50 cents a mile per car. The broker is paying significantly more. What’s the downside?
