Can't exactly say but I'm on my 3rd set of their light truck 'Wildpeak AT3W' tires.
Well made and each set exceeded the mileage numbers -
When I bought my 2017 it had the bi830 on it, I have no idea the miles on them when I got the truck, but I ran them for another year and they wore even without any issues.
Dave_in_AZ, Siinman and Catmando Thank this. -
I had them before. They started cupping after a year

Falken is Sumitomo’s Ultra High Performance brand. Japanese owned co. With plants in North America but due to a partnership with GoodYear they co own Dunlap Rubber. Sumitomo markets Dun in Eurasia and Goodyear markets Dun in the Americas. So US made Falken branded commercial tires are usually made in GoodYear plants. Check first two digits of dots to get production plant origin.

I have bi850s for what it's worth. 16 ply.
96000 on them now, had them siped last fall. They are wearing flat, and probably have 40% left, which is pretty good in our application. We get up around 55000 lbs. on the drives with our big excavator, 65000 witth the tag,, so getting 100,000 miles is pretty good for us. The only thing bad that I have to say is that a couple of them took around 15 Oz. to balance. They were all I could find in tall 16 plys without ordering something in at the time. I don't have experience with 830s, but I do feel that Falken is a good brand.bzinger, Sons Hero, Dave_in_AZ and 1 other person Thank this. -
Thanks for the info ..
I've always run either Continentals or Yokohamas... can't seem to hardly find tall 24:5 's from either of those 2 anymoreLast edited: Sep 15, 2023
bzinger, Oxbow and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
We have been having good luck with kumhos lately,I put a set of 22.5s on my reefer and one of the dumps got 1124.5s, one of the ten wheeler dumps has sumitomo open shoulders on it also though those are 12r22.5s, believe the other 96 tractor has ameri-steels on it for drives which have also been pretty decent Atleast for local
we are officially done with good for one years now which I think is great -
My truck and dads both have Ameristeel by General? on the drives. He has Continental on the steers,I have Firestone. I think as far as steer tires go the Continental wear a little nicer. No complaints on the Ameristeel drives though!
