Its sad, when after being on the road for 20+ days I'm more comfortable sleeping in my truck than I am my own bed at home. My first 2 months of going home I had to play a recording of a truck idling just to go to sleep.


But later on man, I'll be on tomorrow too.

Just picked up a 13 Prostar with only 5k on it. This is after sitting for almost a week waiting for Freight liner to fix a 13 with only 40k on it.. Heading to CA from GA tomorrow. I40 will be a good shakedown route, LOL.. First impression is VERY nice truck. Just hope it wasn't built on Friday lol.

 

Thanks, Bullhead. I guess I just gotta see for myself. And there's (usually) nothing wrong with some creative engineering!

 

Silver? I thought all company trucks were red...?

 

The flatbed trucks will be silver. Roehl said they want the silver trucks for flatbed because they want the flatbed division to stand out among the other fleets.

That's why the new '13 trucks will say "Roehl flatbed & specialized, a division of Roehl Transport" rather than just being red and said roehl transport on the side.

Yeah me too, Like I was telling T-Lady earlier, I like everything about the ProStar......But the components that serve the engine(EGR Cooler) and the braking system could be of better quality. Hopefully your was put together on Wed. after a free lunch for the whole plant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Let us know how it goes.

Yes! Diesel, We all see you....Lol.....Just kidding, I like the silver , But I would like to see a nice red and black design, stripe package down thw side to give it some more color.....But that's just me......Nice looking truck.
