Is 232" wheelbase too short for headache rack and some overhang? Truck is a 72" sleeper freightliner cascadia

That's pretty short ... How many feet do you have from the appropriately placed 5th wheel to the back of the cab?

Depends on if front axle is set forward or back.

Thanks for the info guys my current truck has a wheel base of 246", set fifth wheel. Has about 5 feet from rear of truck to trl "estimated", I'm just going to wait and get the right truck with a 245 plus wheel base.

    cke Thanks this.

236" plus is lowest depending on fifth wheel and size of headache rack, how I'm figuring
