Question about Carolina Cargo

    Hi I was wondering what the drug test procedure is for Carolina Cargo. I was around my buddy about 3 months ago who had a prescription for medical marijuana. He would mainly go to his college do his work and the rest of the time involved this dude sitting on the couch smoking weed watching lord of the rings marathons. He would always rag on me for walking out of the room when he smoked because he said it wouldn't get in my system from second hand smoke. So I started trucking school got my hazmat and all that and moved to GA haven't hung out with him since I graduated.
    Now I have been reading about all these post talking about hair follicle tests and they got me kind of stirred up. I gave myself an at home piss test today and passed with flying colors. Good ok. But... my question is could this show up in a hair follicle test from me being around him smoking all the time a few months ago? My main question is does Carolina cargo do a hair follicle test or a piss test? I should pass both since I don't do drugs but I hear that hair follicle can tell you what you ate for breakfast a year ago... Probably not true but you know what I mean?
    I understand that drugs and trucking don't mix for obvious reasons. This is really putting plaque on my veins overthinking this but I would hate to ruin my career over this. Thanks for any advice.

    The last thing you want is a positive drug test. If you have ANY doubt you will pass, for ANY reason you need to go pay for a drug test urine and follicle out of your own pocket first to make sure you're clean. Consider it a $50 insurance policy. Well worth it to avoid a black mark on your career.

    i wholeheartedly agree with danny. if there is ANY way to pay a private doctor to perform a follicle test id do it. i was kinda in the same boat as you...ran a poker club for awhile with my brother in law and he was a frequent pot smoker. i did same as you...whenever he and/or his buddies lit up, i left the room. while ive heard the follicle test detects drug use in more like 90 days, im no expert, and since the repercussions can be you NEVER being hire-able by some companies, i certainly wouldnt take a chance. even if instead of $50 it ends up being $500. there are way too many companies out there who will NEVER hire a driver who failed a drug test. good luck, and find new friends. doesnt sound like much of a friend who'd risk your livelihood and laugh about it as well.

    Please dont come back here crying how you guys got shafted by them. There seems to be more of that with cc. Unless your a felon i would look elsewhere. Or go drive for $.10 cpm and be happy.
