So i come to the werehouse for unload and my drive time runs out, i do my post trip and go to sleeper berth, after 2-3 hrs they’re done and asking me to leave their property, closest rest area is 20 miles, how the hell i get there?
I read that u cant use personal driving with an empty trailer. And if u can then when u logging personal u will jump from sleeper to off duty driving for this 30 min until u get to rest area and will u be able to go to sleeper and will it count toward ur 10 hrs? Or i will have to start all over again in sleeper?

You now have to trip plan like the rest of us. Like how many hours are remaining etc. preparing for when to arrive at consignee and if they allow overnight parking. Should have been doing this by now. Right?
zany_steverino, Moosetek13, stwik and 2 others Thank this. -

I start 6:30 am, i have 3 stops, last appt is 6:15pm, Its not my plan, its my companys trip manifest, so any other ideas?
Steel Dragon Thanks this. -
Which company? You should not have been scheduled for delivery 12 hours after starting your 14 hour clock.

Be done by 20:30 sounds like a good plan.
Was this last drop one that usually goes quick but was delayed for some reason?
Both you and your company should know you're cutting it close with that one. It's not hard to figure out you need to be done your drop by 8pm if parking is 20 minutes away.
As for the elog you can use off duty driving if empty and it won't hurt your 10.DVG, Steel Dragon and Justonelittlezerg Thank this. -

Personal conveyance doesn't touch this scenario in the guidance, either old or the new one coming out.
You are empty correct? Then you would likely have to royally piss off a DOT officer to get dinged for using it for this move.
More probably you will have more trouble with your company than the law using it.Toomanybikes, zany_steverino, Steel Dragon and 1 other person Thank this.
