Question about elogs

You now have to trip plan like the rest of us. Like how many hours are remaining etc. preparing for when to arrive at consignee and if they allow overnight parking. Should have been doing this by now. Right?

Which company? You should not have been scheduled for delivery 12 hours after starting your 14 hour clock.

 

Be done by 20:30 sounds like a good plan.

Was this last drop one that usually goes quick but was delayed for some reason?

Both you and your company should know you're cutting it close with that one. It's not hard to figure out you need to be done your drop by 8pm if parking is 20 minutes away.

As for the elog you can use off duty driving if empty and it won't hurt your 10.

You are empty correct? Then you would likely have to royally piss off a DOT officer to get dinged for using it for this move.
More probably you will have more trouble with your company than the law using it.
