So I just got on with a different company, heading to salt lake city to get a power only to texas to pick up the trailer. The problem is that it's to cold here in colorado to put the new DOT stickers on the truck and salt lake wont be much warmer. Any ideas on what I can do besides taping?

I put mine on when it was cold this past March. Used a heat gun on the surface to heat it up before putting the stickers on. Careful to not get it so hot to melt the paint. I don’t think a hair dryer will get that hot, but a heat gun will.

Print out DOT number and company name on regular paper and stick with tape on the Windows until you get to warmer place.
PS I like my magnetic signes. I drove with printed and taped signes did some time, until I received my order in the mail. Those stickers are hard to remove later when you decide to move on, unless you planning to be with carrier forever. Even I own my mc I don't like using stickers, meaning that in case of I change my vehicle, I could easily take my signs from previous truck and save headache to the next owner.

Super glue, JBweld......or go to Harbor Freight and get their awesome little heat gun for $10. Don't forget an inverter and an extension cord too unless you've got that part figured out.

I just watched my neighbor up at the Yard use a propane torch!! Removed old and put on new.I’m not recommending that. But He did a good job. I’m surprised as I melted my paint once just with a heat gun. Pull in to TS for grease job tell them your plan

I put mine on at a Walmart parking lot at 2am I bought a hair dryer and always carry an extension. cord behind Walmart where they have the cardboard crusher they have outlets. I park there head up the spot and lay the decals. No one said anything.
