Question on a deduction...

    Yes, I know my accountant would be best to answer this, but he is not always happy to hear from me so, is a $35 Sam's Club membership deductible? I am gonna start buying my oil there....Mobil Delvac for only $8.58 a gallon.[​IMG]

    Yes it is. Any membership such as this that can provide economic benefits are deductible.

    Any concern on my telling you this:

    I am an accountant and income tax preparer since 1980. Just don't like offices.

    I would think that it would be. But ask your accountant to be sure. You may have to have separate cards, one for personal stuff and another one for the business. Let me know what you find out.

    Yup it is, I'd make sure that any purchases for personal and business use were separated so as not to be confused about what receipts are what.
