The pee test isnt as conclusive as a hair test. The pee test on the immediate will show if you used any contraband in the last week. Altho if it is a prescription see below.

A prescription for pain medication should have a letter from doctor explaining use and how often used. When you have the pee test, plan on surrendering this letter to the examiner.

Any company that hires you will declare you a green driver. Whether you drove only in school and didnt get work immediately. Or in my case has some driven miles and experience yet since I have not turned any miles for more than 4 years.

 

If you had the bottle you would no there is no such thing as a 500 mg Hydrocodone. There is 5, 7.5 and 10 mg. You would be dead if you took 500 mg. Also right on the bottle it tells you the prescription expires one year from the date of issue. So you are taking them illegally and I would think they are a bit stale about now. Muscle problems are dealt with by muscle relaxers. Hydrocodone is for nerve pain like in the spine or teeth.

When you fail a drug test and even before anything is said the MRO doctor will call you on the phone and ask you to explain the situation. You can tell him you hurt your back and that you have a prescription. He might ask you for the prescription number on the bottle or he might ask the issuing doctor or pharmacy to verify it. Since you are covered by HIPPA and health records can't be exchanged without your written consent I would think he would just ask for a prescription number to see if you are on the up and up.
Once that doctor makes up his mind he'll only tell the company positive or negative. With a good excuse he'll say negative even if it showed up. Hair test are also not recognized DOT drug test. Only the urine sample is and if you passed it then you are okay as far as the DOT goes. If it hits your DAC then I would dispute it. Hair test can only be used by that company.

I took them things legally for a year for two bad discs. I quit them a couple years ago because they are highly addictive and really don't kill the pain, it only deadens it. I use a tens unit now to deal with the pain. The best thing you can do is flush the rest down the commode. Trucking and opiates is a big no no!

Here's the thing about drug tests. If you test positive for a prescribed drug you're going to get a call from the testing facility first. They're going to tell you that you tested positive for such and such. Then they'll ask if you have a prescription. If you can prove you had or have a prescription the company who sent you in for testing will never know about your positive test.

Now let me lecture you. You are a felon. You didn't get caught but you have committed a felony by taking drugs you were not legally allowed to use. I don't think anything bad about you but anytime you think of someone as being a criminal, thank God that you didn't have someone ruin your life over something so minor.

Yeah that second number is Amphetamine which is mixed in with it. I would toss them. Some old medicines can break down and you don't know what it is. I think you'll be okay since you already passed the urine test.
