I am thinking about doing the car hauling but i have some questions i was hoping someone could help me out with.
(I have asked these questions and i have gotten different answers)
(and my next step was to go talk to the CHP and ask them in person)

1.Do I need a another license besides the regular class c I already have?
for example if im goin to have a dually wit a trailier that totals roughly 70 feet and that can carry 3-4 cars, do i need another license?
(i have been told yeah and no, so hopefully someone can help me wit this, and then ill post my other questions)
    thanx in advance

By the time most 1 tons with a 3 car hauler are loaded they gross out over 26,000 lbs. requiring a CDL A .

They'd better go over the scales in the states I've been in . A titan ??? Isn't that a Nissan ? You asked . I told you . You need 3 pretty small cars to stay under 26,000 lbs. with a 3 car wedge .

Over a certain tonnage, commercial, and having air brakes, is going to require a CDL. If your making money with the rig, it is deemed as commercial, and are required to stop at scales.

So it's got hydraulic brakes? Best thing to do then, is go down to the CHP, and get it from them.

Note that the 24,500 lbs. is given of the weight of the loaded trailer the truck is towing . It does not include the weight of the truck which is probably over 8,000 lbs . A CDL-A is required . This is BS though
. CDL requirements are determined by weight , not length .
