questions regarding DAC REPORT

    im sure its been said before but anyways im looking at getting back into truck driving after being gone since 2008 but my question is are there any trucking companies that will hire someone based on a bad dac reoprt and over look it

    If you fit their basic criteria you shouldn't have a problem. Just be sure to disclose everything up front. Your bigger problem is not driving for four years. You'll probably need to take a refresher or some sort of additional training. Depends on who you try to work for.

    Dispute the charges. There isn't a better time since DAC lost a class action lawsuit last year and paid out to the truckers this past spring. They are gun shy and overturning many reports with no solid proof from the employers.

    Go here, get your copy first, then when you receive it, dispute it.

    One of the trucking sins that's hard to get overlooked. You put a load in jeopardy which could have cost them millions in a lost customer. Trucking companies don't tolerate stuff like that. Best you can do if no one will hire you is find a company that doesn't use DAC. Then you get into the world of sketchy Russians and owner operators that wont pay you.

    You PAID to do what you could do yourself for the cost of postage IF you use the old method? Must be nice to have 150 bucks to throw around! LOL!
