Newer driver here and got a question. Been driving all night, left at 1 am to get to the shipper at 10:30 here in Cali. The guys at the dock have been snails and it looks like I won't be out until after 1830. My 14 is shot, and I am so #### tired I can hardly see straight (been on the road for weeks now w/o a reset running recaps). With the new pc law can I legally move this trailer to find a spot? I honestly don't feel comfortable doing it but the gates will be locked when they close for the night. I went off duty a while ago, and could leave around midnight night but w/o sleep that's not going to happen. Tried napping today but everyone and their brother called and the guys at the dock told me I had to move a couple of trlrs for them so they could get my stuff unloaded and ready.
Quick 14 hr rule.

Well I gotta drive it off the property to find a spot. Got a couple of dirt lots down the road I know of.

Yes. You can use PC to get to the nearest safe area.. loaded, unloaded, bobtails, or naked wearing a Dr Suess hat.
The nearest safe place.Bank_Lbr Thanks this. -
But I usually drive naked wearing a Dr suess hat or my maga hat
Tks for the reply!#wishfulthinking, jammer910Z and Bank_Lbr Thank this. -
Don’t start your drive clock. Get to that dirt lot or whatever.

Oh I won't. Gotta get my Zorbas fix!

Hey I have a thought... instead of worrying about personal conveyance, how about worrying about learning how to say no and getting rest.
You need that 34 hours off if you've been running as you say. -
If you were logged Sleeper Berth while waiting for 8 hours, your 14 would have been extended. Eight and Sleeper being the operative things
snowlauncher and IluvCATS Thank this.
