    Alright

    Here are the weights
    Steer 10620
    Drive 34880
    Trailer 32240

I made it through one scale house about to go through another one here.

    How do I fix it
I'm in California so I'm running at the 40 mark my fifth wheel slide is all the way back and I have watched videos on how to move it but not sure if I can move it with screwing it up

Plz any help would be greatly appreciated!
I'm sitting at the base of the grapevine I dont have to leave for Tracy till tomorrow afternoon, so there is plenty of time for me to fix this.

How much fuel are you carrying? Moving the 5th wheel will not help you.

5th wheel all the way back?

Slide it forward. Move the weight to your steers.

    You're right, I misread.

Slide the 5th wheel forward 2 notches. You'll move 500lbs per notch.

Crank your landing gear down until it's 2" from the ground. Dump your suspension air on the tractor. Release the 5th wheel lock, and you should slide with no problems.

Ok I will try that I guess I need to do it sooner or later. I can't believe they didn't have me come in at the scale I went through.

And you can still move your trailer tandems forward and stay Cali legal. I would move my fifth wheel back where it was then move those tandems forward.

    Grumppy and Raydar Thank this.

If you have a Freightliner, each notch is 200 lbs. You want to have about 11,900 fully loaded on your steers, then leave it on that notch for future loads.

Hell, they’ll probably be closed. It’s hit and miss on that remaining scale.

Oxbow, Raydar and 201 Thank this.
