Got sent to NYC, Atlanta, LA, and San Francisco all in the same trip, I was told no NYC or LA when I got this job.

Trucking companies don't lie. People just ignore the only truth that matters: the job description entails picking up loads and delivering them.

Well if they told him they dont go to nyc or la and then sent him there. That would be the definition of a lie.

If what I read on the forum is any indication, I no longer assume the company is lying when a driver accuses them of lying. I've seen more than enough drivers willing to ignore what they are told, as if that makes it not happen, and then complain the thing they ignored happened. Maybe they lied, maybe they didn't. I wonder how many current employees at the company did the OP talk to before hiring on to the company?

Me? I'd throw a fit, screaming, ranting and raving! HOW DARE THEY SEND ME TO THESE GOD FORSAKEN PLACES! Go into your dispatchers office, start pounding your fist on the desk, pointing your finger at them! You'll show them!

    Bud A., 7speed, Ddh77777 and 5 others Thank this.

You're right....but one would be foolish to blindly trust anybody. Not only that, every company says this and that. They will go anywhere is the money is right. The reality is, it's all about the money, and given that OP went without pushback, that means they now go there.

No doubt i get what ur saying.. just like the companies that say home every weekend and its a 34 reset not a minute less or more. Anybody thats been in the industry long enough knows that companies say #### just to get drivers in the door. Doesnt make it right though
