    I got the same QC messages about fuel mostly for our beer runs. I never adjusted my fuel for the load. That is the shippers problem not mine.

    Thanks for not closing this thread... I know it got side tracked a bit from the OP but I have found the debate of how to handle this situation very educational.

    Learned a few things and laughed at others...

    Surprizing how side tracked threads can do that better than a dedicated thread about how to handle X situation... LOL

    Worked for them for a year.

    THE GOOD
    -Most trips are long 1400+ miles
    -The office staff is friendly
    -Nicer Trucks
    -Apu's
    -Decent home time

    THE BAD
    -Low paying
    -Trips are always 10% short on miles "main reason i quit"
    -Most the office personnel seems to not know much about trucking a lot of kids who probably never even been in a truck before.
    -Gerald in maintenance is so rude & disrespectful
    -Laredo terminal is horrible
    -Most of the terminals are full of hispanic employees
    who favor other hispanic drivers
    -Getting unloaded at 8 am and not picking up to the next day bad pre-planing
    -Hiring to many drivers for there for freight

    I don't know about your 10% short pay. Loads are zip code to zip code, you can lose potentially 20% ground miles free unpaid to get it delivered.

    Laredo is flat combat zone as far as Im concerned. Ive a blade the last time I was down that way and them mexies eyeballed me up and down. Not friendly at all. They can have it.

    You might be finding yourself in need of changing companies to dispose of some of the other complaints you listed. That is best.
