    most flat face radios you would remove the thin face trim from around the radio and you will see thin slots one on each side of the radio. there is tools to slide in there and it unlatches the lock on each side and you pull the radio out. If you bought a new radio it will have the metal tools for that radio and often you can make them work for the old radio.
