We seem to have only two kinds of drivers here. The ones that never use the turn signal, and the ones that are so proud of using the turn signal that they drive for miles with the signal on.
Hell, even the cops in. St. George don't bother with their turn signals. I would not post that, if I'd only seen it a few times. We all make mistakes now and then, but I've seen it over and over again through my years living in this area...

    road_runner and Mike2633 Thank this.

Alright day to day at work, but I'm dragging and pretty tired, went and got fuel today after work truck stop was a zoo. Had to do some last minute Christmas shopping, can't say the roads were too bad though, lots of people off from work made getting around a tad easier.

I'm tired had enough, work this week was fine, but life was hard. At any rate, it's time for Christmas Thank You's.

@Big Don Thank you for all of your advice and your stories and replies.

    Then we get into catagory's

    First Catagory
    Truck Load:
This goes out to pretty much 70% of people on this forum
including @KillingTime ,@tucker and the rest of the crew , of truck load drivers regardless of company or owner operator status. Thank you all for your sacrifice through out the year living in trucks and motels far from home for long stretches of time. Making sure the bulk commodities are transported safely and on time to the distribution points.

    Second Category:
    LTL Drivers
@Buckeye91 ,@MACK E-6 ,@road_runner ,@speedyk ,@sdaniel , @TahoeTrucker , @Bob Dobalina , @misterG and @Naptown . I think I got all of you or at least the regulars. Thank you for making sure the smaller shipments and smaller commodities get to the end user or the distribution point or both.
Also thank you to you city drivers who essentially get the ball across the goal line it's not a very easy task getting the ball across the goal line, yet everyday you guys do it under some very very adverse conditions.
Why just yesterday I saw an Old Dominion Truck stop on Euclid Ave in Euclid, Ohio and a pick up truck backed right up to the Old Dominion truck and they using a lift gate loaded the skid into the pick up truck. The place he was delivering to could not accommodate a freight truck and so the building maintenance people had to meet the truck on the main road and off load in the curb lane. Amazing how you guys get it done.

Also of course thank you to you line haul drivers for traveling all night in the dock and I know some of you stay out all week as well, thank you for traveling far distances and getting the ball right up to the goal line I know a lot of you have to pull 1,2 or 3 trailers and that's a lot of work and a lot to pay attention to.

Then we have our grocery drivers:
    @Pintlehook and @bzinger and @JPenn
Thank you for keeping the grocery stores supplied so when I go to the grocery store I can buy frozen foods, regular dry grocery goods, like chocolate bars and a million other things from sugar to peanut butter as well as meat, fruit, cheese and every other thing under the sun. The grocery store industry is a $606Billion dollar a year industry, but it can't happen unless your wheels are out there turning and making it happen every morning, noon and night around the clock 24/7.

Then of course we have our specialty commodities:
This includes @street beater who keeps the construction and trades supplied with pipe and other essentials for building mechanical and plumbing systems.

Then of course @JReding for keeping the hospitals supplied with consumables and the other millions of products the hospitals need to stay supplied on a daily basis to treat the sick and the injured.

Also while were on specialties drivers @G13Tomcat for hauling the raw materials the build the roads that we drive on everyday to make the economy function.
Also @Banker and @brian991219 for hauling the new and slightly used automobiles to market and also @brian991219 for the thankless job of recovering cars and rescuing automobiles and motorists and also recovering trucks and cargo and helping get the roads open and to keep things going along. Also @F150Jim for hauling the raw materials for road building and mining and drilling and all that good stuff a lot of that heavy industry and production can't take place with out dump trucks hauling bulk sand, stone, dirt and many other commodities.

Also @Rocks for helping the needy and the poor and disadvantaged.

Then we have our food service drivers:
This includes and is not limited too:
@truck_guy thank you for supplying Pizza Hut, KFC, Taco Bell, BW3, Appelbees and the rest of them that McLane does.
@Blackshack46 thank you for going into New York City and supplying Arby's and Wendy's with your packed to the hilt questionably overweight trailers bursting at the seems with all that heavy Arby's Roast Beef.
@LOUMO I haven't seen LOUMO here in a while, but I know he's out here, thanks LOUMO for keeping the street level restaurants and schools in Florida supplied.
@southern_idiot499 thank you for keeping the chain restaurants of Georgia, SC, Alabama and other places supplied.

    How can I forget:
    @Cardfan89 ,
Thank you for keeping the rest homes, motels, diners, bars and grills and biker bars and every other place under the sun in Missouri supplied with everything from forks and knifes to pork shoulder and iced tea.

Also thank you to @Sho Nuff for making sure that all the really important stuff gets through, to other side rain, snow, sleet staying warm and dry has never been your outfits priority and they have kept to that for 240 years.

Also to you retired guys like @4mer trucker and the rest of you, thank you all for towing the line it was important back then as it's important today.

Anyhow I hope you all have a Merry X-Mas and thank you for your hard work that you do all year long.

Obviously I think we also owe the North American Consumer which is also each and every single one of us, and others as well a thank you.

    Anyhow Merry X-Mas everyone.

You're a stalwart of a young man, Mike. A bastion of our kind. Merry Christmas, my friend. Should you be harbored by Scrooge, I would personally beat his ### for you.

    Be well. Stay that way.
