I did something similar a few years back. No way in hell would I have been able to make that right turn, but ended up trying anyway. Swung as wide as I could and got into the alley about 2/3 of the way. I got within an inch of an awning before I knew I royaly screwed the pooch.

Customer had to stand out on the busiest road in Butte and block two lanes of traffic so I could back out. Very humbling experience to say the least.

Mike2633, misterG and MACK E-6 Thank this.

I don’t understand these drivers. You can back up and get out of it. I drive a 48” in Taco Bell parking lots. Last week I thought I could make a turn. I had to stop and back out of it and I was into the turn almost all the way. Thoughts of a wrecker to come get me out ran through my mind. But I retraced my turn and got out of it. Sucks and takes some time but you can back out of it.

A little forethought keeps you out of most situations like this.
Sometimes, you look at it and KNOW you GOT THIS. Then there are times that you know it ain't gonna happen.

Ahh did some hostling the other day in my tractor. Looked like a CR England newbie plugging doors with the dang rail containers lol. It’s been a while since I moved anything besides a pup.
