Hi. Just cleaning out my shed and found that I have four CBs I'm not currently using. I'm having a garage sale this weekend so I wanted to keep the best one or two and get rid of the others. These are the four:
    Radio Shack TRC-483
    General Electric 3-5804A
    Uniden Pro 510 XL
    Lafayette LM-300

If you have any idea which two of these you would keep if you had to and which ones to sell, please let me know. Thanks!

Other than the uniden pro, those seem like something a collecter might want.
My uniden 510 works great despite being 25 years old. Except the mic, that was junk. I bought an astatic and it got clear

Radio Shack TRC-483 - a late model radio for RS, I think it was designed by Uniden. I know the LCD screen could be an issue.
General Electric 3-5804A - 1977 vintage, OK radio, the D version is the best, 02 chip.
Uniden Pro 510 XL - Don't know much about it, other than you can still get one new.
Lafayette LM-300 - not much about it, 78/79 vintage, 02 chip, designed by Lafayette.

I would keep all of them but most would keep the uniden because it is newer. I like the GE or the Lafayette but I also like my Johnson 323.

    Wasatch Rebel Thanks this.

Thanks. I may just keep them all, but wanted to know if anyone knew anything about them.
