Rapid rise in diesel prices squeezing truckers

It’ll be passed on to the consumer as much as they feasibly can…this is frankly ridiculous and intentional in my opinion

 

Nobody cares about truckers/trucks anymore.
They think they’re better than, fuel goes up, freight gets cheaper or the same.
30-60 days the freight goes up some times off set fuel increase.
They talk about fuel going down(not happen just talk) and freight goes down.

There’s several loads I refuse to haul now, one going to Texas, used to do it call the time, but it’s $10/ton cheaper (about $250) than the load I haul most now, and 50 miles further.

They refused to raise rate or pay a fuel surcharge even when fuel was over $5.

 

That pig driving makes me ill.

 

Fuel went up 30-35% here since Monday.

 

.75 cents per gallon here in less that 24 hours. It's funny when the barrel price goes down the price at the pump doesn't happen immediately. They claim what they have in storage gets sold at the older price until it's gone. Then the lower fuel gets inventoried and hits the pumps for the newer lower priced fuel.

However, when the price changes in an upward state the prices at the pump are instantaneous. Were immediately charged the higher price with zero lull. They're all lying to us and stealing the food right from our tables!

 

& we keep on eatin the c r a p sammich.

 

It's time we start doing something about it.
