Not sure if this qualifies as crashing rates and moon fuel but Decker closed their terminal in Missoula MT on Tuesday. Apparently their NW freight must be changing up.

So what does this mean for Small Companies that are running older equipment and eld exempt? Are they going to become obsolete, as far as working with Brokers? Asking for a friend who has his old Truck parked. Maybe he should sell it ASAP? Just sounds like one more obstacle not worth dealing with.

I see ITS has this "NEW" feature for views...

Low, Average, High, or View First.

Pretty lame IMO. Highly doubt it's very accurate at all anyhow. No way that over 50 loads on my screen that are showing posted over 4 hours ago haven't been looked at one time... Definitely not buying that....

Not really sure how this benefits the carrier anyhow... Maybe I'm missing the point?

It's just another "feature" ITS can talk up when pushing their garbage product. The data is all trash anyway.

I think they might be doing what Amazon does. The carriers in good standing within Amazon got to see certain loads before the rest of the group.

    Maybe that’s it.

    JonJon78 Thanks this.

Listening to Road Dog, the topic is broker transparency of course. First call out of the gate was an “owner operator” who said it should be mandatory 90/10 split because the brokers don’t need more than 10%.

His other suggestion was the trucker gets paid first and then they pay the broker 10% because brokers don’t do anything for their money.
