The company started out has Lobos.I went in showed a cdl and was hired.didnt ask about experience or past jobs.In the first 6 months they changed names 5 times,started out as Broadwater,seasons, r&l transport,Now their ECO transport.Under united motor carrier.They ask me to do runs telling me i would only get 4 hours sleep in 975 miles with trucks governed at 58.Will let you run with unsafe equipment.they teamed me with a driver who couldnt read or speak english.No neeed to explain what a nightmare that was.Their out of salt lake city.I was taken out of truck and they kept my cb.,You have to run through a 1000 hoops to get paid.Everytime i have to show paperwork at a weigh station ,im there for an hour while they try to figure out who owns the truck ,trailer and if its insured.They had me run through oregon without a permit,it was a planned route.

I'm surprised this outfit has their trks governed and at such a slow speed since they are outlaw.Any company that hires immediately. without zero background checks and has had this many names can't be good.

They had their own CDL school for awhile until the feds shut it down a few months ago.

Drivers should be as vigilant as companies are suppose to be. They are supposed to by law do back round checks. If you apply to a company that doesn't do them, you should run.

YOU are the final decider if this "They" want you to go do something. Run across Oregon? tsk tsk tsk tsk. If they nailed you, there is no "They" to save you now.
IF you drove a truck that wont keep up with the highway at 58 why are you still driving it.
Driver wont speak english? Why are you enabling this "They" to allow this poor sob to continue working inside our USA.
If YOU cannot find out once and for all who insures the tractor, the trailer and so forth and CARRY current and VALID cards or letters stating same in YOUR permit book inside the door or wherever you keep these things from this "They" who failed to provide you with current information to minimize delays in the scale house.
Im not here to be your opponet. Virtually everything you wrote about this "They" making you do this and that, you are no better than this They when you do go and do illegal stuff.
If you are so concerned with this they who constantly get you to do it, go back to the yard and tell these They that here is the keys to the truck, they can drive it. And go home. Many drivers dont know that with a CDL you have to protect it. Its a little different than an employee mentality where you trust the employer not to violate laws because they are accountable. Here WE are accountable if we are talked into driving a truck that fails a pre trip or asked to doctor logs and such. Protect your investment and refuse to be bullied into these things because it is 100% you that pays the price.
