Really need advice, am I paying too much for dispatch and factoring?

    I have two ford350 19 and 16

    Two 40ft trailers


    I’m leased to a company I Pay them 8% dispatch and 5% factoring total load pay drivers 30% total load


    I’m working on getting cdl in the meantime I’m barley making enough to pay to keep trucks rolling any advice

    I’m 23 years old I have no experience I just dove into this sink or swim attitude


    Any books links advice am I paying to much factoring and dispatch

    I think you are paying too much. 5% dispatch and 3.5% factoring.

    your paying your driver 10% less than what they should get.

    Drivers are getting 30%. You’re outta your freaking mind. Pay a driver 40%. He wants that he can buy a #### truck!

    I know how they operate. I’m not a fan of dispatch services, in your case you may be better off using one. I think most get 5%. Factoring ranges fro 1.5 to 5% depending on several factors. This is a tight margin business and you probably jumped too soon. I suggest you start eat, drinking, and sleeping trucking. That’s the only way you will turn this around

    It’s has only been a month in a half is it a slow time of year for hotshots ? I’m just kinda stressing out because if anything was to happen to trucks they are not making enough money to have emergency money for repairs I’m just making enough to pay all expenses for trucks and fuel for the next week I’m not expecting to get rich it’s a long term investment just want to know if I’m doing things the right way thank you all for your time and responses
