Rear end collision south of Las Vegas Nevada

I have to guess no one was in that white cab. That is some devastation.

 

That looks like the truck that did the rear-ending and likely the lady that was transported to the hospital, but it said non-life-threatening injuries.

 

Took my 10 last night in Jean and when I woke up this morning I saw traffic diverted from the interstate.
Took a look on the interstate and could see the accident. Drove by and saw the wrecks from the detour, saw the cab lying on the road and thought the driver didn't survive.
Must have been a big difference in speed at the crash, I think the rear ended truck pulled in from the on ramp and was still slow.

 

It's amazing anyone survived that wreck.

 

I agree can't see how the driver didn't even have life threatening injuries. One lucky driver

 

What a mess. Almost like trauck with trailer damage may have been stationary.

 

Perhaps the slow driver pulled an absolute bone headed stunt that is one of my pet peeves...

...parking for a break near the END of the on ramp.

That right there is on the ninth level of stupid. I am not saying this is what happened in this particular accident, it's just that after seeing IDIOTS getting underway from the END of an on ramp and merging into traffic while still in low range I think they must have missed the opportunity to partake at the brain buffet.
