Factory.
They work.
I can't see ship with those stupid fancy colored "cool dude" dash lights
Your mileage may vary... -
A specific wavelength of blue light has been proven to reduce eye fatigue, but I doubt the cheap colored bulbs at truckstops are calibrated to this wavelength. I have always preferred the soft green or amber light, really like the amber color used in the International 9200 and 9400 series dashes.
OLDSKOOLERnWV and crb Thank this. -
i have red now but i heard blue is easy on your eyes for night driving
-
I'm partial to the blue lights. They seem to cut the glare and don't make my eyes tired.

The blue lights on a cobra 29, well they dont do much for reducing eye fatigue. I think they increase it. At least on my cobra.
The blue headlights, thats another story. I dont mind them and they are bright. -
I like as many different colors as possible, and a nightwatch CB. I feel like I'm in command of the space shuttle or something then.
Crude Truckin', brian991219, Cottonmouth85 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Had a car with red backlighting on the gauges. Hated it. Looked tacky.

Red. It won't ruin your night vision.
