Does anyone know if any of the LTL carriers do weekly routes as opposed to daily? As in, leave out on Monday and not return till Friday or till the route is done.
Curious to know as I live to far from any of them to drive in daily.

Estes and Saia have extra board runs where you leave out and are out 4-5 days before getting your 2 days off at home. Lay up in a hotel at the end of each shift. Friend of mine at Estes did that for 3 years before he bid on a home-daily route and got it. He made more $ running extra board

When I looked into Magnum. I found you can do that or similar. They have a position called Maverick. You go to different terminals and help. Not sure how it all works there. As I understood, any LTL driver could drive like you say? Go ask them.

Is Saia near you?
