Not sure where you're at but I do know that RFS in the New England area is doing pretty poorly from a morale standpoint.
The New Bedford, Mass. and the Taunton, Mass. terminals are having quite a few internal problems and they have recently fired their HR people. Drivers are quitting in droves and the company is having a lot of problems retaining them. So much so, that they have actually closed down several drop yards and smaller terminals because there simply are not enough drivers to work them.
Company is very un-organized and seems to be going through a transition. As I mentioned before, morale is pretty low and drivers are coming... and going quickly.
Equipment is pretty worn as well and safety does not seem to be an issue as you will be expected to run with broken/illegal trucks and trailers.
Pay and benefits are better than any OTR but still doesn't really seem to be enough to retain drivers.
You would be better off going with either U.S. Foods or with Sysco.speedyk Thanks this. -

RFS bought out Aagar maybe a decade ago and that's how they entered into the North East, same way GFS bought out Perkins.
