I have always believed that persons who are terminally ill should have the right of "self-determination". You get that way when you have a close family member wasting away because the LAW doesn't really allow an alternative other than "nature taking her course".

 

After watching people for YEARS suffer from all types of disease I like JACK, and his idea. Yes he was a little bit to macob for some but he had the right idea.

Anyone that is of sound mind, who knows the course of their disease and wants to have one last wish should be allowed to peacefuly leave this world....if you have ever watched someone die from MS or cancer its not pretty.

Its too bad that people are kept alive for the gain of doctors,hospitals and pharmacy owners......we treat our animals better than we do our citizens with terminal illness

 

What he did was right, his mistake was the fame involved. Too much in the media. Now if we could get bush to visit Jack, life would be better for all of us.

 

I wonder if he will move to OREGON then and continue his service?
