They are gonna get paid.
If no crime was committed they cannot arrest/detain. Their personal safety was not at risk, so not self defense either.
Security went hands on first. No crime was committed, policy/procedure is not law. If they didn’t want to be searched they could leave, which is exactly what they were gonna do. All that a guard can do to someone refusing to follow their procedures is to ask them to leave, then have the cops trespass them if they don’t. Preventing them from leaving is not gonna look good in court.
The previous thread, a lot of folks didn’t believe the op. But now that the video is out, it’s pretty damning for the guards. Clearly shows the guards going hands on first.
