Hello. My truck (2018 Freightliner Cascadia DD15) is in need of an aftertreatment one box and filters. If anyone can direct me to a reliable junkyard or used parts store in the Los Angeles area, please let me know. Also, what's a good price range I should be expecting? Thanks in advance.

Get your part numbers and call any dealer in Arizona to get a price, you’ll save thousands. It will be worth driving out there to get one new.

The One box is crazy expensive you need your old one to get the core charge money credit. Getting a used one from junk yard might be possible but seems like big risk if it any good. Plus you need the Detroit computer to probably even get it working if that even possible

Personally the only time I'd consider used emission system parts is if I needed a good core and the used one could be bought for a decent amount less than the core value.

Its a huge gamble putting a used one box on a truck. It might last 10k miles, it might last 100k miles. Might not even make it out of the shop, there's no guarentee on anything. IMO you'd be further ahead just spending more up front for a new or reman (if that's an option) and then you know for sure its a good part.

There was or maybe more options today of people that were replacing those Platinum coated filters in the one box. They would cut the old ones out and weld the new one back in. That was the problem with the one box. They made it so they could not be replaced

It’s better to purchase one with a warranty.

Here is one I found not sure if they are any good but you can look on internet for other places. They claim they can rebuild One Box and replace the SCF filter and upgrade One Box if needed. They are in San Bernardino CA
