im interested in purchasing several retired reefer units. We intend to remove the reefer and use the insulated space for a heated space for chemicals. We plan to get a high output heating system, remove the reefer, and turn the trailer in to a hot box.
Does anyone have leads on retired reefer trailers? Or conexs?
Where to buy retired reefer units, for storage?

What part of the country?

What’s your location?
I would suggest local trailer dealerships and local trailer rental depots.
That would be your best bet.Zzuroweste1 Thanks this. -
Most reefer units will heat and cool.
Depends on how hot you want the interior.
Fuel may be cost prohibitive though, running the diesel 24/7.Zzuroweste1 and Bean Jr. Thank this. -
Would a heated container be better they are run off electricity ..

You might also look for some retired intermodal units that run off of AC power. Not sure where to look other than some well-worded Google searches.
magoo68 and Zzuroweste1 Thank this. -
