im interested in purchasing several retired reefer units. We intend to remove the reefer and use the insulated space for a heated space for chemicals. We plan to get a high output heating system, remove the reefer, and turn the trailer in to a hot box.

Does anyone have leads on retired reefer trailers? Or conexs?

    What’s your location?

I would suggest local trailer dealerships and local trailer rental depots.

That would be your best bet.

    Zzuroweste1 Thanks this.

Most reefer units will heat and cool.
Depends on how hot you want the interior.
Fuel may be cost prohibitive though, running the diesel 24/7.

I need the heat between 80-90 degrees. What type of unit would that be?

You might also look for some retired intermodal units that run off of AC power. Not sure where to look other than some well-worded Google searches.
