I'm liking mine. I was using a North Star and a General Lee. Still got them , but I put this in couple years ago and haven't removed it. Screenshot_20230610_145500_Gallery.jpg

Good to hear! My General Lee was a good radio, I had it for 19 years. But I had an issue where a wire of some sort disconnected from the board that needed to be soldered back on, and this was the second time it happened.

I still run my 44 Galaxy.
At home so can’t take photo, buttons faded off, meter don’t work either.
    It’s around 20 years old.

I ran with a 2970(?) Ranger. Worked good until about 2009-2010 when Navistar changed something in wire harness, a lot of us couldn’t get our big radios a consistent swr. Tried all the tricks, to no real improvement, when back to a Cobra 29, did an adequate job for the remainder of years at that employer. Still have the Ranger boxed up. Actually all my radio’s are boxed up, except the Cobra in our RV.

Sorry for the typos. I brought my General Lee radio in for a repair. I got the radio repaired, then I decided to upgrade, and bought a brand new Stryker 955HP

Nice. You running custom whips too?

Not that it amounts to much, but I really like the purple LED's on your Stryker. Was that an alteration?

    And what's the LSB setting?
What can you do with USB?
How do you fiddle with the SWR?

    BennysPennys Thanks this.

Can't remember what antenna I have, and I have to read the manual to find out all that stuff. I just put it in yesterday, didn't have time to play with it yet.
