I've been out of trucking for six years. Three years prior OTR experience, with a clean record.
Want a company that doesn't treat me as a new driver. I can tolerate a period out on the road with a trainer, but don't feel it should be as long as for a new driver.
Want a company with a rider policy. Ideally able to take the passenger with me day one after the training period ends. Permanent setup - not just one of those deals where they expect the passenger to be an occasional ride along.
Hometime location flexible. Moving back the USA after a few years overseas, so I'm not tied to any one spot.
Interested in Dry Van or Food Grade Tanker work. Not too picky about lanes. I've only ever done irregular route OTR, which I prefer. Would prefer to avoid the NE.
Reefer, Hazmat and Flatbed are all second/third choice.
No driver-facing cameras.
Hopefully there are still options this day and age. I used to roll with companies that had me driving ~3000 miles per week. I guess I was fortunate enough to not be with companies that give you 2-3 days for 450-mile loads, and then make you sit around waiting for the next 300 mile run.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
