Everything you need to know in one picture.
Today is my first day in orientation. I'm sure like myself, plenty of people are very curious as to what they will be experiencing here, before they get here.
Well here is your holy grail.

I will be at orientation next week (the day after tomorrow) in Richmond. Since I live in Richmond, I will be driving myself there and home. Is there anything I should know about parking? Also, what are the "compliance tentstreet DOT files?"
Are our background checks and so on completed before we arrive, or is someone working on it while we're at orientation? I ask because I spoke with a recruiter Friday, and he set me up for orientation on Monday. It was quite fast, so I'm worried there will be hiccups. -
The recruiter only did a cursory background check. There will be someone, likely in Phoenix, doing a more thorough check while you are at orientation.
MuscleBro Thanks this. -
Inkeper is mostly right, from what I know about background checks (and I know a fair amount), so long as you haven't omitted any information on your application, then you should be alright.
Now if they find out about something that you kept from your recruiter, then you might find yourself having issues. My orientation consisted of 16 people, some of which including myself had less than stellar pasts, one even having a felony, what we all had in common was that we were truthful on our applications. Everyone ended up getting their driver code within 48 hours.
tl;dr: If you were honest on your application then you should have no issue.
