When I start riding with my trainer I want to respect his truck and space.
But I also want some of my comfort things. I am thinking a weeks worth of clothes, my laptop and movies. Any other suggestions to make the weeks easier for both myself and the trainer?

there's a limited amount of Space and most trainers already have a bunch of stuff so try to not bring a whole lot, a pillow, blanket, laptop, your not going to have very much free time for movies, but i could be wrong all i know is that i would ask my students to try and not bring a ton of stuff and wait till you get your own truck.

also 1 suggestion... i listen to people who are training all the time and they constantly complain.. you may or may not get along with your trainer but the key to me is just to suck it up and ride it out, other wise if you keep changing trainers that will extend the amount of time your in training who knows maybe there will be a trainer there tomorrow or maybe you have to wait a week for the next one... its not going to be a match made in heaven (it could be) just suck it up get what you can out of it and with and Drive on!
