Heck I hardly noticed a difference in handling on my half ton when I replaced the original shocks at 260k lol.

Seems like you have unrealistic expectations out of shocks. Look at what they do. Not exactly the kind of function that is going to lead to long component life that's the reason they are so easy to swap out and cheap too, routine maintenance. I run Monroes about $65 each for the rears and $55 for the fronts when they wear out.

Why would they warranty them? They've reached the end of their service life and need rebuilt. Not a big deal.

Im with rollincoal on this one. Your completely out of touch with reality.

I have a friend who still listens to him! The guy who he leases to, knows KR, and doesn't listen to him, but my friend keeps on quoting him.

The selling point with RK is they last a long time and help dampen more than traditional shocks. The problem is they wear out, leak, gasket failure, etc after 2 years. And not just 1 of my shocks all 6. I just wanted to start this thread so someone thinking about buying these thinking there long lasting doesn't throw their money away. RK is one of the biggest scams going. For $2000 they should last a long time or there is no point in buying them. You can't spend that kind of money and replace them every 2 years.

Well I for one am glad I read it....I just used $60 monroes last year....but now that is all I will ever use.

Who knows....had I made some real money maybe I would have explored "better" shocks. I doubt it though....I always heard stick with monroe on trucks...

I like the Gabriel SLX Adjustable shocks. They have 3 settings. I prefer extra firm setting myself. They are same price, sometimes even cheaper than Monroe shocks. We have them on all our trucks now. I recommended them to my cousin who has a flex air ride that he was hating bc of the ride, and now he loves it. Just my .02.
